Liz, Sara and I attempted to hike Mt. Blackmore this past Sunday. We got in a few miles but had to turn back because of the snowpack still on the trail. Saw a black bear driving up to the trailhead and I also got a few photos of a Pica. Nice Hike!
Sara and I made a quick trip to the Missouri Breaks Friday night to look for the match to the big 7 point I found a couple weeks ago. Didn’t find the match but we put in a good effort and found 4 nice elk antlers, the good dog chew type (last years) and one deer antler. Very nice night for camping out and a good couple hikes!
Elk Antlers 5/18/2014
Had a great weekend of shed hunting in the Missouri Breaks. Couldn’t find the match to the 7 point so I may have to make another trip up there to look some more. A few good dog chew antlers also.
I found this nice older antler this past weekend. It will make some great Antler Creek Antler Dog Chews for some Happy Pups!
My sister got a new puppy yesterday, and sure enough the little pup loves to chew on everything! Lucky for my sister, she had an Antler Creek Antler Rope Chew ready- the puppy loves it!
2014 Antler Hunting season is starting for me. I found this nice elk antler in Paradise Valley last weekend. More to come I’m sure!
I had a custom request for a life-size Sandhill Crane. This sculpture is right at 4′ 2″ high- the top height for a Sandhill Crane. The look and feel of the Crane really worked with the wire. I’ll be making more of these for sure!
